The Mountbatten Institute is the only organisation providing graduates with the opportunity to gain unrivalled work experience at the world's top employers in New York City. Participants of the New York Programme spend one year living, working and training in one of the world's most challenging corporate cultures, arming themselves with the skills necessary to top an increasingly competitive labour market.
Around 300 trainees per year work at over 50 companies including JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, Blackrock, Barclays, HSBC, Credit Suisse, UBS, Thomson Reuters, British Airways and Citi. Roles are available in Marketing & Communications, Banking & Finance, Legal & Compliance, Human Resources, Project Management and Business Operations.
Trainees complement their full time work placement with part time postgraduate study with one of three courses.
During the programme trainees are provided with FREE accommodation and $13,000 allowance to make the most of their NYC experience.
The Mountbatten Institute encourages cultural integration on the programme with a calendar of events for trainees including museum visits, sports events, brunches, weekend trips, 6th avenue parades and more.
Employment prospects following Mountbatten are outstanding with 86% being employed within 3 months and 100% being employed within 6 months.
