I went to Leeds University and did a BA in Political Studies, followed by an MSc in International Marketing Management. I was also the Club Captain of the University Football Club

What does your company do in under ten words?

We’re a diners’ club, offering discounts at 6,500 restaurants


What do you love most about your job?

Leading the next phase of growth in the business that I love

What three skills / qualities do you need to succeed in your field?

Understanding of customers, intuition, and the courage to follow your instincts

Tell us a bit about your working style

I have strong views about the areas that I feel I have expertise; marketing, understanding of customers, product, sales; but I will always give my team the opportunity to make their own decisions and run with their strategies. And if there is an area that I am not an expert, I will always defer to the people running those departments, and place my trust in them.

What's the best piece of work advice you ever had?

Never burn your bridges!

What piece of advice would you give to someone starting out?

Follow your gut instincts. If you have doubts don’t ignore them, but if you strongly believe that something will work throw all of your energy behind it.
