If you have been considering what to do with your life before, after and during school but want to end up in a high paying role, you might be surprised to learn that getting a bachelor's degree is the way forward.

Accountant

It is well known that working in finance (and becoming an accountant, in particular) can be incredibly lucrative. After all, one of the best ways to make money is to work with it. Engineer

Engineering is a field filled with many facets, nearly all of which are well paid and become tangible when you get a bachelor's degree. From chemical engineers who earn up to £70,000 a year to sales engineers who earn up to £80,000 a year, engineering can one of the best jobs available to you.

To become an engineer you need to be specialised in the field that you are looking into so for example if you wanted to become a civil engineer you need to study courses specific to that field. There is also likely to be additional training before you get a job to get you well-versed and ready to earn some serious money.

Nurse

Higher level positions in the medical sector might be a little out of reach with just a bachelor's degree but becoming a nurse is well within your reach. Nurses start earning at $50k in the U.S and £25k in the UK. So, if you wanted a job that allows you to help people, while also earning a very good living, nursing might just be for you.

Software developer

Software developers create and modify computer applications as well as utility programs and they get paid well to do it. In today's world of constantly advancing technology it means that software developers are always in demand, so not only do you have a chance to make up to £80k but you also will have plenty of options available to you after you complete your bachelor's degree and undergo further training.
