Role of: Graduate Software Developer
Established in 2015, Round Software Ltd offers bespoke IT solutions for small to medium sized businesses. The company is based in Telford, West Midlands.
To support the company’s ambitious growth plans, the exciting role of Graduate Software Developer has arisen to develop mobile applications which will allow users to browse a catalogue of products. The mobile application will use a RESTful API to allow users to view and order products from a mobile device.
This is a fixed term project for 12 months, with a strong possibility of extending the employment beyond that period.
The successful candidate will:
The company is looking for an outstanding graduate with a strong degree (preferably 1st class honours or 2:1) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent, with a genuine passion for software and demonstrable skills including problem solving - both as part of a team and individually; Java or .Net Framework; SQL development and Object Oriented Development.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have a flexible approach to adopting new challenges and input from peers and colleagues. They will be self-driven for progressive learning and development, keen to accept responsibility and accountability and have a self-disciplined approach to achieving engineering deadlines and objectives. The role will be fully supported by an academic mentor from the University of Wolverhampton, making it an outstanding opportunity for learning and growth for a new or recent graduate.
