We welcome applications from tutors looking to work from a couple of hours a week to full time. We would encourage you to apply if you have:
- A passion to educate and inspire young minds

- Tutoring experience and/or a PGCE or QTS
- The ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
We offer some of the most competitive rates in London and promote tutors based on their experience and hours worked with the agency. We are very discerning about our selection and ask that all potential tutors demonstrate their tuition style in-depth at interview. We require an enhanced DBS check before we allow anyone to start working with a student; safeguarding is of tantamount importance to us. We review each application carefully, taking into account your CV, tutoring experience and qualifications. We also provide an induction and specialist training seminars to elevate your tutoring provision.
Tutoring work takes place primarily in the student’s home, mostly in West and Central London. We also have a growing need for tutors to travel further afield to the Home Counties, Europe, America and Asia.
Being a tutor is not the same as being a teacher. Many of the brightest students find they have patches in their learning because classroom teaching can’t do a perfect job of fitting each student’s interests, learning style or pace. The role of a tutor is to listen to their student and facilitate learning one-on-one in a personal, encouraging and non-judgemental way. It is an enjoyable, rewarding and flexible profession that does not require Qualified Teacher Status, but instead benefits from those who combine broad and interesting backgrounds with a natural aptitude for teaching and listening.
Our tutors relish the challenge of connecting with their students; making lessons impactful, interesting and entertaining. Our tutors always provide a range of resources and seek to lift their student’s heads out of their books or practise exam papers, whilst combining this with a rigorous academic underpinning. Our tutors are passionate and dynamic educators.
