We Got Coders is the only web development consultancy that runs a bootcamp-style web development course linked to real client-work, with a free graduate scholarship.
Our unique approach combines world-class web development tuition with real-world work experience, delivering web professionals who are ready to hit the ground running and who can deliver real value to our clients.
What makes us different is that we back new talent through our training, mentoring and work placement programme. Hiring the best of our intake, we put our money where our mouth is and work alongside our trainees on client projects, pairing senior-level developers with junior developers to ensure that our consultants get the support they need and our clients has access to the best of new talent.
We offer three full-time training options:
- 3-month training only
- 6-month Fast Track Junior Developer
- 24-month Graduate Scholarship
The training-only program consists of 12 weeks of intensive, classroom-based study covering everything you need to know in order to become a successful web developer. We cover full-stack web development, including Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, Padrino, Databases & SQL, HTTP, HTML5, CSS, Networking, JavaScript, Backbone.JS, JQuery, Agile Web Development, Test-driven deployment and Git.
The Fast Track Junior Developer program combines six months of full-time training and work experience. The first half of the program consists of the 12 weeks intensive training above. Successful completion of this phase is followed by 12 weeks of paid work experience in a real web development team. Trainees will be placed on-site with clients, applying their knowledge to real-world development projects. Within 6-8 weeks of the second phase, We Got Coders aims to secure offers of permanent employment from their hiring partners, for all of their trainees.
Graduate Scholarships are available to exceptional candidates who have recently graduated from university, preferably in a Computer or Science related degree.
All applicants must be able to demonstrate self-motivation and a strong interest in coding, including proven independent study of programming.
