Situated next to London’s Richmond Park, within a stone’s throw of Fulham, Putney and Wimbledon, and only 20 minutes on the train from Waterloo, the University of Roehampton’s Campus offers a unique environment in which to study in one of the world’s most vibrant capital cities. We have over 150 years of educational experience and pride ourselves in offering students not only a fantastic academic experience but also the opportunity to develop life and vocational skills, engage with a hugely diverse student body from all over the world and become part of the Roehampton community through its plethora of sports, societies, social events, volunteering and extracurricular activities.

Programmes we have include MBA, International Management, PGCE, Education, Counselling Psychology (BPS accredited), Creative and Professional Writing, Audiovisual Translation, Human Rights and many more. As well as the 10 subject departments there is also the Graduate School, providing support and guidance for research based students undertaking large scale projects such as PhDs. All our academics are highly research active and with the last Research Assessment Exercise (RAE, 2008) finding that 78% of research at Roehampton was of an internationally recognised standard.

The university also offers the opportunity to do an MBA, MSc in Project Management or an MSc in Information Systems Management fully online. Our online degrees offer you the benefits of an interactive classroom combined with the networking and community building features of social media. You won’t be studying alone; you will be part of the University’s online community.

We have a team of academic support officers who can help students with aspects ranging from research to writing skills. As well as this the library provides space for research and study skills sessions and a team of subject specific librarians who are available to advise on methods of research and collating reading material. Augmenting the academic experience we have support departments, with staff offering assistance and advice on accommodation, finance, welfare and employability. With careers and work experience being a key priority for postgraduate students the Employability centre can offer assistance in these areas, from one to one drop in session on cover letter and CV writing to holding careers fairs on campus. Roehampton is the top university in London for employment with over 92% of graduates in employment or higher study. (DLHE report for 2010 graduates).

Throughout the academic year Roehampton also offers a number of postgraduate open events which can all be found on the website, giving you the chance to engage with academics, current students and support staff. Whether it is for professional or personal development, the diverse portfolio of postgraduate taught and research programmes, along with the support of the graduate school and student services, allows Roehampton to offer a dynamic and inclusive postgraduate experience.
