To help graduates make their mark in the industry, The Association of
Train Operating Companies offers a Professional Engineering Development Scheme, accredited by the IMechE and IET, for candidates with an accredited degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Successful candidates are employed in the UK Train Operating Companies and follow the ATOC scheme - a well structured and flexible training programme within a multi-disciplined engineering environment - designed for graduates to achieve Chartered or Incorporated status in as little as 4 years; the scheme is tailored to your personal needs to help you develop your knowledge and build an exciting long-term career in the rail industry.
