Two Intern Positions – E-Commerce Exceutives

The Savile Row Company is a mid-size, successful, up-market fashion retailer. We sell directly to the public via our website and mail order catalogue. We’re a global business, with over 70 years of fashion/retailing credentials & with a brand presence in over 40 countries

As early adopters of e-commerce, we’ve been transacting online since 2000. The internet accounts for approximately 65% of our business and is still growing.

We are looking for interns to fill two 6 month placements. These are salaried positions and offer an opportunity to gain exposure to real projects and challenges. You will have business responsibility from Day 1, be a key member of the team, while being guided and supported by senior mentors. You will report into the Marketing and E-Commerce Director

Succeed and you could be offered a permanent position with the Savile Row Co.

Job Summary:
Your degree specialisation is less important than your passion for online as a communication channel and e-commerce as a principal retail driver.

Some knowledge/awareness of the key online marketing channels will be extremely advantageous as projects will be aligned to these channels.

Each intern will have responsibility for specific projects, business objectives and financial targets.
Projects will include a selection from the list below:

*International affiliate marketing
*Affinity marketing
*International search marketing
*Database segmentation
*Email message testing
*Research and survey analysis
*Event marketing
*Establishing a Consumer Panel
*Amazon Merchant Programme management
*Corporate marketing
*Management and uploading of web imagery
*Viral/Social marketing
*Activity reporting

New projects may be added to this list

The interns would be expected to be active team players and contribute to general department activities

General Candidate Requirements:

*Proficiency in MS Office Packages
*Basic knowledge of Photoshop would be a real plus
*Ideally fluent in a 2nd European language
*Demonstrate an ability in problem solving and logical thinking
*Strong communication skills, with particular
proficiency in the written word
*Ability to work as a team but also independently
*Strong commercial and business awareness
*As part of a small e-commerce team, there will be a need to cope with a variety of different tasks and priorities.
*Must be able to work in the UK

Salary: Equivalent to £16k a year during 6 month placement, increasing to £20k if a permanent role is offered
