The College of Law
The College of Law, the largest legal training establishment in Europe, currently has branches in Birmingham, Chester, Guildford, London and York.
The College offers the following courses:Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL):
- The law conversion course for graduates of disciplines other than law who wish to become solicitors or barristers. If successful, students receive a Diploma in Law and are guaranteed a place on the College's LPC.
- Legal Practice Course (LPC): The vocational stage of training for prospective solicitors. Our LPC has been developed in close consultation leading law firms and is continually updated so that it always reflects the changing needs of the profession.
- Bar Vocational Course (BVC): The vocational stage of training for prospective barristers is available at the College's site in London. The College's BVC has been developed in conjunction with practising barristers to prepare students for life at the Bar.
