Postgraduate study:

Research:
DMU has an excellent reputation for research, supported by results in the most recent Research Assessment Exercise. Overall 43% of research activity was rated as world-leading (4 star) or internationally excellent (3 star).
DMU boasts a strong research profile across a range of disciplines. Innovative projects merge areas including music and software design, or architecture and energy efficiency. Other research crosses traditional boundaries, such as designing new hospital wards, sustainable retail design, and developing local and national health policy.
Particular strengths have been identified in the cultural and creative disciplines (60%), architecture (65%) and civil engineering (70%), whilst in English language and literature, DMU ranks amongst the top institutions in the UK.

Facilities:
