Case Study 1

 Elisha Eke

“Working with Carving Careers really helped me along quicker and boosted my confidence. Before I came here I felt like giving up as nobody was giving me any opportunities. The door was being slammed in my face constantly and I realised I needed experience. Carving Careers program enabled me to get that experience and to learn all the new things I needed. Michele was able to coach me and teach me along the way. If I had a problem she solved it in a professional way which just opened more options for me. I think the worst part was learning to know myself. Sitting in a three hours regional meeting shadowing the director made me feel nervous at first but I always got feedback and I was told I inputted well which helped me along.

The best part was the constructive and positive advice I got along the way. Carving Careers is a young, light and fun organisation. Last week I went to a BBQ business meeting where I had a great time meeting and networking with others. I would like to thank the Carving Careers team for all their help and assistance with everything, as it has all fallen into place since meeting them."
